John (Jack) Patrick Cullen joined up in September 1915. He was appointed A/Sergeant on 7/6/16 but was reverted to Pte on 21/7/16. `He served with the 11th Battalion in France and was wounded in the shoulder in the Battle of Mouquet Farm (Pouzieres) in July 1916. He was evacuated to 3rd London General Hospital like his brother Harry (See P2015.5) where he died of his wounds in 14 September 1916. He was buried in the Commonwealth soldiers section of Wandsworth Cemetery in London and his grave has been visited by Harry's descendants down the years.
