Humorous Postcard
1916A white pasteboard card with a picture of a dachshund with a German helmet on, it has a bandage around its stomach and is walking using crutches. There is a tune of a song underneath the picture.

Above the picture of the dachshund in black typed lettering is "AM I DOWN-HEARTED? HUSH".
On the back of the postcard in green lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath are two columns, the first has the heading "FOR CORRESPONDENCE ONLY" and the heading on the second column is "FOR THE ADDRESS ONLY".
At the top right hand corner is a green box with the words "THERE'S A DAVIS QUALITY CARD FOR EVERY OCCASION, WHY NOT ASK FOR THEM".
On the back of the postcard along the left vertical side is "THIS CARD IS PRINTED IN ENGLAND" and along the bottom is "A.M. DAVIS & CO QUALTIY CARDS LONDON".
