Katanning Flour Mill Sheds
c. 1974A coloured photograph of a shed with bags of material in several compartments, running along the ground in front of the shed is a railway track. At the end of the railway track is a loaded wagon.
This photograph shows bags of material in different compartments and in front of the shed runs a railway line and at the end is a loaded brake van. Above the railway line runs a conveyor belt which runs to bagged grain in the shed.

On the back of the photograph handwritten in blue ink is "Old Mill 1974 Katanning".
The storage sheds and silos at the back of the Flour Mill building were pulled down in 1979. They were very large and covered the land block that is the "Woolworths Complex" in 2000. They were brick on the northern side (Clive Street), iron and timber in other sections. Large iron silos were also part of the completed. The mill railway siding was part of the storage yard.
These are a few of the remaining photos of the site in Austral Terrace.
