Overview

Squarish brass box with two (2) small etched and blackened text aluminium plaques on front with ball chain plug covering microphone jack connector. It has three (3) wall connectors on back.

Historical information

HMAS Perth (II) was decommissioned in October 1999 and gifted to the City of Albany for a recreational dive wreck; being scuttled on 24 November 2001. Prior to the scuttling, the City removed objects as part of preparing an ‘on-shore’ interpretive centre as per the agreement conditions by the State Government of Western Australia.
