Overview

A steel ring secured with two (2) steel links that has been painted white and fastened by a red painting bolt head and nut.

Historical information

HMAS Perth (II) was decommissioned in October 1999 and gifted to the City of Albany for a recreational dive wreck; being scuttled on 24 November 2001. Prior to the scuttling, the City removed objects as part of preparing an ‘on-shore’ interpretive centre as per the agreement conditions by the State Government of Western Australia.
