Overview

Long black crepe dress with wrap over front which curves at hem edge. Bodice has high neckline with stand up collar. Black lace over front of bodice is floral design. No sleeves with cut away shoulders. Back of dress has a long zip. Collar has two black crepe covered buttons. Seam at high waist and two darts at back.

Historical information

Dress was worn by Amanda Walker in 1994 to her Year 12 formal school ball at Kelmscott Senior High School. The Ashleigh Morgan dress cost approximately $200. Amanda had attended the school from year 8 to year 12. She lived in Kelmscott with her parents and younger brother.
The Ashleigh Morgan brand was released in the 1980s by Apparel Industries.
