EDWARDIAN LACE GOWN
1903Cream coloured long fine net gown - The net has disc shapes in the weaving . From the hem are 3 horizontal tucks & a wide strip of open heavy lace . Softly gathered at waist where pink satin trims another strip of lace & forms a large pleated bow in which a rectangle is padded. More lace forms a yoke bodice & the net area here is pi tucked front & back , pink satin also forms a V shape from bow to neckline with pink satin trims & curls of pink satin trim the high collar which is ruffled . Gathered mutton chop sleeves with a centre panel of lace & pink satin at cuffs with 3 small pink bows. Hook & eye closures central back Bone stiffeners at top of shoulders Slight central back train
