BSHS Girls Hockey B-2 1981

B.S.H.S. girls hockey teams have enjoyed a very successful season, with all teams improving on last year's positions.

At the time of writing this report (mid-August), the No. 1 team is second in the A2 grade, and the two B grade teams are both equal 4th on the premiership for their grade.

We are currently looking forward to competing in the statewide Senior Country Week Carnival in Perth (14 girls involved) and the South West Winter Carnival at Bunbury, (14 lower school girls). Both teams are capable of an excellent performance.

Much of the success of our hockey this year must be attributed to the keen and high standard of help from two parents, Mrs Nan Walters and Mr Les Gardiner. With much effort and patience, they have both coached a B' grade team.

The involvement and responsibility from the team members has been reflected in our success and the beauty of fielding at least 11 players each game.

Looking forward to a bigger and better season in 1982, with more girls and parents involved.
