Inscriptions and markings

On the back of the postcard is printed in brown lettering is "POST" and then a circular emblem which has the word "EMPIRE" at the top and then a lion and a Kangaroo either side of a camera on a stand. After the emblem is "CARD". Below this line are two columns, the heading in the left column in green lettering is "FOR CORRESPONDENCE" and in the right column "FOR ADDRESS ONLY". In the top right hand corner is a square with the word "STAMP" inside.

On the back of the postcard handwritten in blue ink is "L to R Rev. P.C. Morkham minister of Presbyterium Church Katanning up to 1918. Then returned to Queensland." Underneath in three rows handwritten in blue ink is "Mrs Morkham sister", "Daughter Sylvia", "Mrs Morkham".
