Historical information

Belmuggin School was located in the Shire of Northam. It was built on Mr John Bonser's land (on location no. 1133) about 8 miles from Northam and 2 miles from Jennapullin on the Northam-Pithara Road.

There may be two locations where this school operated from; the first site was used in 1890 and the second site operated between 1891 and 1896.
(Note: a second source suggests this school closed in 1893 due to lack of numbers)
