GREENS REPLACEMENT PROGRAM 2023
2023Overview
During 2023 further greens were replaced with the 007 variety of bent grass (see Item 2022.334 for the 2022 greens replacement program). The commencement of the program is announced in this communication from Course Superintendent Dane McBride dated March 2023.
With residual bent grass left in the turf nursery from the 2022 program, the 2023 program commenced with the replacement of the temporary green mid-way down the 8th fairway as well as the chipping green.
Details on the progress with the program are contained in the various Course Reports and club Newsletters with the completion described in the Course Report dated November 2023.
