Overview

Black and white photograph of the front of the Regal Theatre, facing north from the corner of Rokeby Road and Hay Street. The image shows a portrait view of the Art Deco building, with a vertical 'REGAL' neon sign at the top of the building, and a 'Regal Theatre' sign along the cantilever awning above the footpath. Three vehicles are parked on the side of Rokeby Road outside the theatre, and a zebra crossing extends across the road in the bottom right corner of the image. The Regal Gardens building can be seen further down Rokeby Road in the background, also with a vertical 'REGAL' sign at the front of the building. The tower of St. Joseph's Cathedral, slightly obscured behind the electrical post standing in front of the Regal Theatre, can also be seen in the further background.

Photograph has a thin white border, a tear to the right edge and some staining.

Reverse:

'Sivyers Photographers / 614 616 MURRAY ST PERTH WA. / Phone BA8611' purple ink stamp in bottom left corner. '44019-1' handwritten in blue ink, filled in on the number line.
