(A) Etched whale tooth depicting square sided cross with vine wrapped around. Whole scene is surrounded by garlands (B) same as (A), but cross has rounded edges.

Historical information

The teeth, (A&B) are a matching pair and probably by the same artist. Originally the collection of Des Liddy, Kirribilli, NSW (Ref. Jill Bell in conversation with AG 20.3.99) Can be seen in photo A32 but not listed in original J + JO Bell list.
