Overview

Brown leather rectangle case. Flap opens up to reveal 4 pockets that run the length of the case and are designed to open outwards.

On middle of the flap is a short leather strap riveted in place that acts as a handle.

Text written in pen on inside of flap reads [Frank McGurk / Armadale / WA]

The bag was used by Michael 'Frank' McGurk when attending music practice as a boy in Armadale. It shows the importance of music in a childs education especialy in the City of Armadale area in times past and present day.

He was a member of the Armadale Boys Band in the 1930s and would later play at and private parties.
