PHOTOGRAPH: SEVEN GIRLS, THELMA GREEN BEQUEST

c. 1930
Overview

Image: A photograph of seven young girls sitting down on the floor, posing with one leg straight infront, and the other leg crossed over the top of it, and hands holding their knee. They are all wearing the same 'Hawaiian' costume, with straw-like skirts, a floral necklace, and flowers in their hair. The photo has been colored slightly, with pink and green colouring on the flowers. There are labels written in black pen below the five girls on the left. From the left: 'THELMA', 'BETTY', 'JOYCE', 'BILLIE', JOYCE'.

Reverse: Handwritten in black pen is '1 THELMA CONGDON', '2 BETTY MILLAR', '5 JOYCE FRASER' and '4 BILLIE CONGDON'. A faint purple stamp is in the bottom right, 'FOR PHOTOGRAPHS, SIVYEN, W.A.'
