Overview

Gala Days were a common feature at the club in the 1990s and 2000s. They were used as a means to raise funds for various purposes including the clubs pennant teams.

This four page 'Putting Competition Card' is an one example of the various events that were conducted. The card shows 20 'holes' of competition with a $1 entry fee for each attempt.

Club member Ron Williamson sponsored this event via his company Carousel Motor Company. Ron's company name also appears on a 2001 scorecard and this year has been used as a guide to the date of this putting competition card.
