From a collection of black and white photographs of houses in Barker Road.
Image: Number 159 Barker Road. A brick and tile corner house with gables. The two sided verandah is supported by simply carved posts and carved brackets. It has a decoratively carved border and is partly closed in at the front and sides with lattice work. There is a weatherboard wall at the side with a row of three windows shaded by wooden awnings. There is a low white wall at the front. The house is called 'St Albans'.
