Compur Folding Camera

Overview

Rectangle folding 'Compur' camera. Camera box covered in dark brown material. Rectangle metal attachment on back of camera box. Brown leather handle on top, held in place with metal fittings on each side. Strap damaged on RHS. Light wear on material of main box section. Material damaged and peeling/ missing at edges which attach to the metal of main camera box. Built in hole in the bottom of the main camera. RHS of camera has metal view finder which folds out for use or tucks away flat. Lens compartment made of folded black material which connects to the lens. The lens is on a track which can move back and forth by using levers under the camera. The same levers also allow you to push the lens back in to close the camera box. There is a small circular winding knob on RHS of lens track which moves the track back and forth. The track is black and has some scratches. There is another knob on the top RHS of the lens which allows the lens to move up and down. Thin black wire frame which can be opened out to the LHS of the lens. The lens is made from black and silve metal, which is tarnished. There are numbers written on the lens. There are also small levers attached to the lens. On the top LHS of the lens there is another view finder. On the bottom LHS of the lens track there is a table with meters. Scratches on the LHS and RHS of the metal of the camera lens which sits on the lens track. Back panel of the camera opens, the inside is black fabric. Scratches around lens on inside of lens tunnel. Hinges inside and on cover of camera for opening and closing. Circular metal clip at the top centre of the camera used to close and open the camera. Camera can open and close down correctly.
