4 Burner Easycook Stove
Rectangular green and black stove with four circular shaped openings, three of the four circular opening have a circular shaped burner within them, in spaces one, two and four. The stove top is made from cast iron and rusted, the stove top is split in two and can be removed, each of the circular openings have ridges surrounding them. The stove top has a rectangular green backing which matches the colour of the stove top base, this base section has three black circular plastic knobs attached to the front. The stove top base sits on a cast iron base which is badly rusted and corroded. On the left-hand side of the cooker is a cylindrical fuel tank with two separate openings with screw top lids. Inside the stove top at the bottom in the hollow base section is a fuel line that goes from the fuel tank to the fourth burner from left to right. Each burner sits on a cast iron rectangular piece that is positioned from front to back of the burner. The black plastic knobs on the front attach to a metal pipe which attaches to the burner.
Josephine's husband Barry Darch and his father Cyril (Peter) were on the Wanneroo Road Board and worked for the Wanneroo Shire. The Darch family is a pioneering family.
The cooker was used by Barry's mother Dorothy Darch in the family home.
