1998The painting donated to the school by the Aboriginal Student Support & Parent Awareness (ASSPA) committee to principal Suzanne Saunders.
The Bunbury Senior High School’s Emblem at the top of the painting represents the School, it’s Past, Present and Future.
The two dot circles at the top of the painting show the Staff and their unique talents, academic and non academic.
The two dot circles to the outer edge of the middle of the painting portray the Students at Bunbury Senior High School.
The bottom dot circle represents the Families of Students and Staff and the various Committees that lend support to the School such as Parents and Friends, Canteen Volunteers, etc.
The central dot circle represents the ASSPA Committee nurturing and educating towards understanding and respect for Aboriginal People and their Culture.
The dot bands linking the dot circles portrays the diverse pathways Staff and Students will and
have taken.
The Spirit figures at the bottom of the painting symbolise a vision of Students and Staff going into the future with the freedom that education brings enabling them to make informed decisions and to form opinions with intelligence and tolerance.
The dot bands at the bottom of the painting represents the future and the dreams and aspirations of Students and Staff at Bunbury Senior High School.
