A. Kenrick and sons
Manufacturer: Archibald Kenrick & Sons of West Bromwich. Company was originally established in 1827. By 1914 the company operated as ironfounders, enamellers and lock manufacturers, specialising in cast iron hollow ware, household and builders' ironwork, malleable ironwork and castings. In the 1930s cast iron hollow ware and the hardware trade had been in permanent decline for a decade. In 1939 the demand for munitions rescued the company and manufacturing of hollow ware was discontinued. In 2014 the company was still trading as ironfounders, diecasters and hardware manufacturers.
