1976
Overview

The man standing on the left is wearing a white hard hat, beige cardigan and tie (same subject from 1999.281.1), and has a lit cigarette in his hand. The other two men are sitting amongst the pipes laid out on the floor, with the man in the middle wearing a grey sweater and holding a hammer in his right hand, and the man on the right sitting with his elbows over his knees. There is a spirit level ruler resting on top of a pipe in front of the man sitting on the right.

Large stacks of concrete products and buildings can be seen in the background.
