Historical information

The First Show held on the site of the present Swimming Pool then known as 'The Park' was adjacent to Kartanup Pool on Pinwerning Brook. This is a photograph of Katanning Showgrounds looking towards the Railway line.

On the back of the photograph stamped in purple ink which has faded is "RG Illidge, Mount Lawley, WA"

On the back of the photograph handwritten in red ink is "1924' and below this in blue ink is "State Implement Exhibition".
