Image: The black and white photograph shows two men in the process of erecting a tent in a bushland setting. One man rests on his shovel while the other bends over digging. A washing line is supported by a long wooden pole pushed into the ground and this line extends across the image. Some clothes are hung up to dry on the line in the background. On the back is pencil handwriting, 'For many, home was a tent in the early years'
