Overview

Cream linen hard cover with dark green lettering. Inside front end paper is written in ink 'St. John's Albany Lad's Club 1929'. Also two lables TO ALBERT THE BRAVE, King of the Belgians and MR. HALL CAINES HAPPY IDEA. On title page is inscription 'Mary with Mother's fond love. July 1915'. Frontis: 'Albert King of the Belgians' black and white photo. 188 pages, illust., some colour prints, others black and white. The book - A Tribute to the Belgian King and People from Representative Men and Women throughout the world, and is sold for the benefit of the Daily Telegraph Belgian Fund.
