Contextual Information

Annual country prize meetings were celebrated gatherings of rifle shooters from across a district and from other districts. NV Bartlett and ALH Ainsworth (both of the Corrigin Rifle Club) and G Herbert of the Nungarin Rifle Club were significant figures in the rifle shooting movement. They also represented WA in teams competitions on various occasions.
