William Garrity Perth Rifle Club Winner 1927 Kings Prize NRAWA. Garrity was a sergeant in the Garrison Artillery at Albany before joining the WA Government Railways. He also won the Kings Prize in 1910 and numerous other competitions over several decades. He represented WA and Australia at Bisley [World championships] in England. Garrity belonged to the Perth and Fremantle Clubs at different times. Winners of the Kings (and Queens) prize meetings bring great credit to their clubs as they have competed against the best from other clubs in their State as well as visiting shooters from inter State.
