Elaborate hand painted Honour Scrioll presented to Captain A S Green by the members of the Kalgoorlie battalion, Citizens Defence Corp.s
During World war 1, a number of volunteer organisations were formed to train men too young, to old or medically unfit for active service. The focus was on drill and musketry/shooting. For thw Citizens Defence Corps, attendance at 19 training sessions gained entitlement ot a crops badge.
