PHOTOGRAPH: METTERS' WORKER'S 'GRAVE'
Black and white photograph of a 'grave' made at Metters' factory for an unknown worker called Bob. A mound of sand is edged by broken tiles and decorated with leaves. A lily is placed at the centre and a pair of old shoes protrudes at one end. At its head is a wooden cross with 'Poor old Bob' and 'R.I.P.' handwritten in white letters.
An adjacent sign reads: 'Here lies poor old Bob. Died for want of morning tea.' In the background are stacks of moulding boxes.
