WOODEN DARNING MUSHROOM
1940Wooden mushroom in two parts; the handle has a rounded hour glass shape with a circular shaped head which fits into a hole on the underside of the mushroom head.
The handle is a darker wood than the head.
There are no groves or screws on the two items.
One of the items collected by Kim Fletcher from 15 William Street Armadale in an old tin trunk. The wooden mushroom was inserted inside a sock with the hole over the top of the mushroom to make it easier to darn.
