Pair of Carriage Lamps - Raydyot

Overview

A pair of black painted brass carriage lamps - both have brackets attached to stem.
They each have the following:
* a silver tag with #357
* four sided lamp:
back panel is metal with a small red glass light (this was also a hinged back panel allowing for change of the candle inside)
front panel is glass
left side panel is glass
right side panel is metal
* Chimney with one hood

Historical information

Raydyot was a British automotive brand known for its lightweight, high-performance accessories, particularly mirrors and lamps, popular with racing and performance cars from the 1950s and 1960s.
The company's history dates back to at least the 1920s/1930s, when it produced a range of spot lamps and mirrors
