Buckingham House c1969
c. 19694 x 6, b & w photograph, photographic paper
Photograph taken by Neville Green, who, as a member of the Wanneroo and Districts Historical Society, was carrying out an assessment of the historical value of the house. This was in response to a request from the Shire of Wanneroo. Mr. Green reported that the dwelling should be preserved. Buckingham House in 1969 was in a state of extreme disrepair. The Shire of Wanneroo subsequently undertook the required conservation work and the house was opened as a museum in November 1985.
