Under title is printed Issued to and Date, with 'Broomehill Police' and '14/3/39' handwritten black ink. At foot of Title page is printed '34308 -A 9.38' at lower left corner. 'D.H.PAISLEY, Govt. PRINTER.' is printed at bottom centre of Title Page. Ensuing details in order are:- 'NOTE This book is issued for the assistance of Police and the public in describing stolen jewellery. When reporting stolen jewellery and same is covered by a style in this book, it will only be necessary to state the article and reference, i.e., gent's 9-ct. gold watch, A. 3; platinum wedding ring, K,4; or as the case may be . If a type in this book resembles the article stolen but varies in detail, quote the article as above and state similar to A.3"; or as the case may be
