This is an oral history about Robert Ablett's early life and the obstacles that he overcame.

Historical information

Bob was born in Margaret River in 1943. At aged 2, his feet were badly burnt, and when he was 6 years old, he spent nine months recovering in Princess Margaret Hospital, Perth, for reconstruction and surgery. In 1964 he purchased a farm in Cowaramup.
