TOOL: LEATHER FOLDER, SEDGWICK
Metal tool that consists of an outer flat shaped holder and a flat rod that inserts into the holder. The flat rod comes to a rounded point at the end. There is a round screw nut on the holder used to tighten the position of the rod.
Likely used by Alexander Douglas Sedgwick in his shed at 50 Bedford Street, Subiaco.
Used to punch holes in leather in saddlemaking and leatherworking.
