John Curtin's silver cigarette box
This marked his election to the seat of Fremantle and his resignation from his position as editor of the Westralian Worker. The box is visible on John Curtin's desk in a 1942 Pix photograph of Curtin working on a Sunday morning, JCPML00376/6.
