Overview

A coloured photograph of construction being done on the York Street footpath. An area of the footpath has piles of yellow sand on it and is covered by a brown tarp to form a shade cover. There are two men under this tarp. One man is standing in a large hole, and the other man is sitting on the side of the footpath with his legs hanging in this hole. There is a van parked along the side of the road which is open at the back. There is a cardboard box that has been unloaded from the back of this van.
Reverse: A typed label reads 'YORK STREET, March 1985, Commencement of work to under-ground power mains between Townshend and Coghlan Roads.'.
