Historical information

The photograph was taken after the family's return from Torbay Junction in 1911. This picture may have been taken shortly before Basil returned to England in 1911 to continue his education. Mackay Road up to Dalkeith Road and Alice Road were renamed Melvista Avenue, Claremont c.1940.
