Overview

One of a pair of two bisque kewpie-style dolls dressed in sailor's uniforms. This one is dressed as a girl, having a long drop-waisted dress, bonnet and sailor-style collar in white fabric, all trimmed with dark blue ribbon.
Her arms are movable, but the rest of her body is moulded, with the legs fixed together. She is skin coloured and has painted red lips, rosy cheeks, blue eyes and long dark eyelashes.
The word 'Germany' is impressed into the clay on the back of the doll.
