Overview

Four coloured photographs of houses at numbers 15, 17, 19 and 22 Smyth Road, Shenton Park. Each of the houses was thought to be built by W.H.E. Grundmann, builder of Shenton Park. a) and b) 15 and 17 Smyth Road: weather board construction with verandah half way across right hand side of building; galvanised iron roofs; white picket fences; awnings over window of front room. c) 19 Smyth Road: red brick construction, red tiled roof, portico style verandah; 'swag curtain' plaster trim to window sills; re-tuck pointing had just been completed. Owner: Mr Patrick Davies. d) 22 Smyth Road: brick construction with a white stucco plaster finish; half verandah across front of house with remaining half of frontage having a turret finish at gutter level.
