Overview

Sixteen coloured photographs providing a photographic record of the exterior and parts of the interior of the house at 36 Smyth Road, Shenton Park, constructed c1920s. The red brick and tile house was demolished 2 October 2005. a)-h) show the exterior of the house: the façade was of red brick to waist height and white plastered stucco finish to the roof line. i)-k) show the ornate ceilings in the entrance hall, master bedroom and second bedroom. L) built in robes and cupboards in master bedroom. M) white tiled alcove for stove and refrigerator in the kitchen. N) fireplace surround in room at rear of the house. O) and p) leadlight windows removed from house.

Donor, Mr Patrick Davies, has contributed other photographs of houses in Smyth Road to the collection held by the Subiaco Museum.
