Title page: Micah Clarke his statement as made to his three grandchildren Joseph, Gervas, & Reuben during the hard winter of 1734. 406 pages, illustrated, frontis: 'Monmouth raised the book above his head'. End papers coloured with design of swans and ships. On front inside cover is Metropolitan Police Force Library Label and written in ink H.W. Joyce, Hortin Siding, via Albany, Western Australia.
