COONDLE CRICKET TEAM
c. 1912 - 1919A reproduction of a black and white photo of 11 young men, 5 standing and 6 sitting.
All have hats on and wearing whites - Long trousers and long sleeved shirts.
The sleeves are rolled up.
One man to the right of photo is wearing dark trousers held up with braces.
This photograph is reproduced in 'A History of Toodyay' by Alf T Thomas on p. 26. The photograph is captioned with the men's names, as listed in the description.
Although this was published in 1949, the style of hats indicates an earlier era, especially compared to another photo on the same page of a 1947-48 cricket team.
A search of the names of the cricketers in historic newspapers scanned and shared via Trove would seem to suggest this photo dates from the 1910s.
