A small brown covered booklet, that has a drawing of a car with four people on the front cover.

Historical information

The booklet is 43 pages telling of the trip and includes advertising from the towns that were visited. The tour of the Great Southern by car from Albany through the towns in the area. Six cars left with the Mayor Mr. H. Robinson, Mr. J.S. Deykin (President Albany chamber of Commerce) Messrs. John Moir, HC Sims and A. Armstrong (3 ex-mayors of the town) and other persons' of renown.

Inscriptions and markings

On the inside page there is a purple stamp which reads "A. THOMSON. PER", the second purple stamp reads "A. THOMSON. PER" and then handwritten in blue ink "Presented Katanning Historical Society 4/6/49".
