PHOTOGRAPH: THE NEWMAN GIRLS

Overview

Front: Black and white photograph of Dorothy and Eileen standing behind a wicker couch on which Edna is seated. Dorothy rests her arms on the back of the couch. Eileen, on the right, has one hand resting on an ornamental pedestal which has a small palm in a porcelain pot on the lower shelf. Decorative curtains hang in the background. All three girls are wearing white dresses and gloves, white ribbons in their hair and dark stockings and shoes. All are wearing bar brooches at the neck and Eileen is also wearing a locket. The photograph is mounted on thick light brown cardboard with a dark brown border. On the lower border, printed in gold, and underlined, is the message 'Wishing you Compliments of the Season.'
