Dark green end papers. 159 pages, illustrated, maps, bibliograhy, and index of photographs. Inscription on title page reads : 'To Eugene Herbert with best wishes. I hope this life story of my grandmother helps throw some light on your ancesters.' G Sampson 14/9/2000'. Errata Page 46 date Albany Town Hall 1989 should be 1898, pages 129 and 155 Lettice should be Lettie or Alicia McCook, and page 153 Poppleston should be Popplestone.
