BOTTLE, BROWN GLASS - AYNER & SONS

Overview

Moulded brown glass bottle. The bottle has twelve facets rising vertically to the shoulder. The neck tapers gently from the shoulder to the flanged top, culminating in the opening.

There is a circle encompassing a reindeer trade mark with text around it and text written underneath the trade mark.

Also has text on the base.

Historical information

Reindeer sauce was produced by the local company Rayner & Sons of Railway Parade in West Perth.

It was thrown into the rubbish pit once the contents were consumed.
