Overview
A child’s bassinet with metal frame and wire mesh body.
Max dimension: L 80cm, W 59cm, H 96cm.
Basket dimensions: L 76cm, W 46cm, H 32cm.
Basket is made from a diagonal crimped wire mesh (H 4.5cm, W 6.5cm)
There are two solid metal loops at the apex of each end of the bassinet for the addition of a cover of the bassinet. Feet are part of the frame, semi-circles facing outwards from the frame/basket at 45 degrees.
The entire item is painted beige. The uniformity of this colour across the item suggests that this was likely the colour it was painted not the colour it faded to. Flecks of paint missing from the surface indicate that the item was originally painted white, with bare metal below that.
