Wooden Trolley
Overview
A large wooden trolley with wooden frame and wooden slat base and walls. Maximum dimensions: L 93cm, W 61cm, H 69cm. Screw and bolt fixtures. Four steel wheels with a diameter of approximately 13.5cm, two on a central axle with one each on front and rear axle. The point at which the front and rear axles attach to the base of the trolley is weak, with the wood having rotted away or been damaged during use and these are significant weak points when moving this item.
Item is not varnished, presents no evidence of bora/white ants. Likely hand made. No makers marks observed on the wheels.
J. Heinrichs has stated that this may have been the trolley associated with the kitchen
