Vintage Wooden Pick Up Sticks
Overview
This beautifully crafted vintage Pick Up Sticks game showcases the timeless appeal of traditional wooden toys. Housed in a 210mm x 40mm wooden cylinder, the container features the word "Picksticks" carefully burnt into the wood, with cork stoppers sealing each end. The set includes a collection of wooden sticks and what appears to be the original instructions. With no maker’s mark or identifiable origin, this set is likely handmade, reflecting the simplicity and enduring popularity of classic parlour games. A charming example of how beloved games were often crafted by hand before mass production became common.
